AAAP offices are located at Butler Hospital, Rhode Island’s only private, nonprofit psychiatric and substance abuse hospital for adults, adolescents, children, and seniors. Butler is affiliated with The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and is the flagship for its department of psychiatry which has been recognized by its peers as one of the top ten in the United States. Recognized as a national leader in the development of acute, short-term psychiatric and substance abuse treatment, Butler has a reputation for providing the best care available to patients. The hospital is involved in a variety of research efforts which has earned it a national reputation as a major teaching and research facility.

Driving directions to AAAP Offices (Butler Hospital campus):

  • Heading North: Turn right off of Blackstone Blvd. into the Butler Hospital entrance (large marble sign).  Heading South: Turn left (cut across the Blackstone Blvd. walking path) and into the Butler Hospital campus (marble sign entrance).
  • Follow the road (Butler Drive) over two speed bumps and past the EPOCH and Laurelmead Senior Centers
  • Parking can be found in Lot B by taking the next left on Ray Drive (towards the Ray Conference Center)
  • Or continue on Butler Drive to the main entrance of Butler Hospital
  • AAAP Offices are located in the Weld Building (extending to the left of the Butler Main Entrance)
