The mission of the Research Committee is to promote research among the AAAP membership. Activities include presenting a workshop at the Annual Meeting for junior investigators seeking practical advice on initiating a research career. The Research Committee also works with the Education Section to determine the AAAP Travel Awards for the best research papers by a resident, which are presented at the Annual Meeting.
