The AAAP Book Service markets select AAAP member publications, as well as the latest addiction titles, study guides and resources in the field. AAAP members receive discounts on select products!
The AAAP Library is open for publication submissions from members only.
If you would like your title added to the library, you must first be a current AAAP member. Your book must then be submitted for review and approval by the AAAP Review Committee. Upon approval, the book can be added to the AAAP Book Store online and advertised to membership.
To add your book to our Book Store, AAAP Staff will coordinate with your publisher to purchase copies, and sales proceeds from the AAAP Web Store will go directly to AAAP.
To submit a book for review, please keep the following criteria in mind, as your book will be reviewed based on the points below:
- Understandable
- Scientifically accurate
- Accurately and adequately cited with references for information
- Relevant to the field of addiction psychiatry
- Useful for providing patient care
- Free of commercial bias and/or peronsal/corporate advertising
- Appropriate for the AAAP Book Store
If you are an AAAP member and would like to submit your book for review, please email webstore@aaap.org or send a copy of your book directly to the AAAP National Office.
